Following a horrific bus crash in the Rocky Mountains on the way to a
scouting jamboree, Sam Fox needs to find help, and fast! With no food,
water or equipment, and with two young scouts in tow, Sam needs to keep
his wits about him if he's planning on surviving the perils of the
American wilderness. With a huge grizzly on his tail, a pack of wolves
circling and some kind of half-human, half-animal always just out of
sight, can Sam survive for long enough to raise the alarm and save the
crash victims, or will this story come to a grizzly end?
Born in New Zealand, Justin D'Ath
published his first novel for adults in 1989. This was followed by
numerous award-winning short stories, also for adults. Justin has
worked in a sugar mill, on a cattle station, in a mine, on an island,
in a laboratory, built cars, picked fruit, driven forklifts and taught
writing for twelve years. He wrote his first children's book in 1996
and to date he has published 26 books. The Extreme Adventures books are his first series to be published by A&C Black.
