Born on the island of Nassau in the Bahamas, the photographer Dale Grant followed his heart after graduating from university with a degree in International Relations and became a fashion photographer. After working as a commercial photographer for many years, he turned to fine art photography with flowers being his main theme. However, his first love has always been portrait photography and his portrait work radiates a profound sensitivity, attributable to his adeptness with lighting and his unique ability to make subjects feel at ease in front of his lens. This skill not only enhances the aesthetic quality of his portraits but also infuses them with genuine emotion. His first book Fading Beauty was published by Kerber Verlag in 2019.
