Ever since she was a baby, poor Rapunzel has been locked in a tower by an old witch. But when a young prince clambers up to see her, it gives Rapunzel an idea about how she might finally escape.
Stephanie Stansbie (Author)
Stephanie has been a children's book editor, and then an author, for most of her adult life. She adores editing and writing in equal measure and has always worked on illustrated books, where the art is as important as the word. The books she has written have been translated into more than 15 different languages. Stephanie lives in Oxford, England, and enjoys goofing about with her family and friends, going to the theatre and chocolate porridge.
Loretta Schauer (Illustrator)
Loretta has illustrated a number of picture books and fiction titles for younger children. She has always loved drawing and is never happier than when she's making something. Loretta lives in London, England, with her archaeologist husband and her hamster studio buddy, Nanook, who assists with the creative process by staring really hard at her until she gives him a treat.
