Drew Daniels, a.k.a. the Fantastic Freewheeler, is ready for fun at the theme park. He’s excited to ride a rollercoaster, sample countless fudge flavours and... meet another super-powered kid?! Lily Lynch doesn’t think her ability is that super or useful. But when the high-tech Candynator 5000 starts spewing out candy floss uncontrollably, she’ll be put to the test! Can Freewheeler help Lily value her power in time for them to join forces and stop the sweet treat threat? Find out in this exciting Fantastic Freewheeler graphic novel, featuring a hero with attitude who uses a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy, as well as action full of humour and heart.
Like the Fantastic Freewheeler, Molly Felder has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. She received her BA and MA in writing from NYU Gallatin. Her debut picture book, Henry the Boy, is based on the years she spent walking with crutches and is published by Penny Candy Books. The Fantastic Freewheeler books are her first graphic novels. She has taught English to kids in China online and loves having her service dog, Patterson, by her side. If she could pick a superpower, it would be to hear what he’s thinking.
