Step inside the movie magic! A photographic guide to where your favourite TV shows and movies were shot in London, from Thomas Duke AKA one of social media's leading film accounts, Stepping Through Film. Featuring a foreword from Heartstopper's Alice Oseman.

From James Bond to Bridget Jones, Paddington Bear to Sherlock Holmes, London is home to some of the world's most popular characters and has been at the heart of the film and TV world for over 100 years. Now, in The Film Lover's Guide to London, you'll discover a hidden London you've never seen before.

Thomas Duke has been behind the scenes of the world's biggest movies and TV shows, interviewing actors, directors, producers and location scouts to discover what makes magic onscreen. Join Tom as he guides you through iconic and hidden London locations, from Love, Actually to Bridgerton; from Saltburn to Shaun of the Dead; from the MCU to Heartstopper, exploring beloved classics, festive favourites and today's biggest blockbusters.

Through full colour photography and illustrated maps, Tom pairs his famous film and TV stills with their real-life backgrounds and guides you through how to find the locations and immerse yourself in the filming magic. Complete with trivia, facts and stories from filming, and exclusive contributions from filmmakers, this is the ultimate guide to London for film and TV lovers everywhere.

Tom Duke has forever been finding a way to escape into the world of film and TV. His journey began when he started writing down every film he had ever watched and realised his list amassed over 4000+! Tom studied Film & TV at Brunel University, and it was then that he started to visit film locations. One thing led to another and as the passions of film, TV & photography became ingrained into his day-to-day life, his hobby became his job. Since then Tom has built an engaged community of over 1.6 million who tune in to 'step through film' via his content creation, discovering and retracing both locations based on our favourite movies and shows. Tom is also a seasoned presenter, hosting junkets and interviewing some of his heroes including the likes of Olivia Colman, Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Claire Foy and Rebecca Ferguson to name a few.
