Joanna McInerney is an editor and writer living and working in London, UK. Prior to working in children's publishing, she trained as a primary school teacher and loves finding ways to get children excited about the world around them. She is the author of several books for children. When she isn't working, Joanna enjoys hanging out with her British Shorthair cat.

Carmen Saldana (Illustrator)
Carmen Saldana lives and works from Gijon, a rainy little city in the north of Spain. After studying Arts and working as a graphic designer, Carmen became a full-time illustrator and has worked on a whole host of picture books. She has a passion for furry animals and is inspired by everything in nature.
