Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 15 fluency levels aimed at children in Years 2-4. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading.
Fluency 15 books have a word count of 7200 words with an expected reading rate of 150 words per minute.
In 2022, millions of fossils including giant megalodons were found under a school in the USA. Follow the clues left by nature over time to help predict if there could be a dinosaur under your school too!
Isabel Thomas is a science writer and the author of a galaxy of books for young audiences. They include Moth: An Evolution Story, which won the AAAS/Subaru Prize for Excellence in Science Books, and Exploring the Elements, a Waterstones and New York Times Book of 2020.
