Christoph Mäckler, born in 1951 in Frankfurt am Main, has been running MÄCKLER ARCHITEKTEN there since 1981. As a professor of urban design at TU Dortmund (1998–2018), he founded the Deutsches Institut für Stadtbaukunst in 2008 and serves as an advisor to numerous cities on architecture and urban planning. He frequently contributes critical perspectives to contemporary debates on architecture and urban design.
Mischa Bosch earned his architecture diploma at HFT Stuttgart, then continued his studies at TH Karlsruhe and ETH Zurich on a DAAD scholarship. After completing a second diploma, he joined PROF. CHRISTOPH MÄCKLER ARCHITEKTEN in 1999, taking charge of design planning in 2004. He became a partner in 2009 and has served as managing director of MÄCKLER ARCHITEKTEN since 2017.
