Dare to stray off the path into a spooky supernatural adventure of dark twists and creepy turns? The magic of Grimmhart Forest awaits...

"Full of suspense, daringly dark magic and a forest-full of imagination - this is a book children will get a thrill from reading long after lights out." A.F. Steadman, author of the Skandar series

'I am tired of Eve Wersocki Morris being the best-kept secret in children's literature. I want everyone to be reading her mysterious and mesmirizing books. Please do your part.' Lemony Snicket, author of A Series of Unfortunate Events

"An enchanting adventure story expertly woven, and rich with dark fairy tale magic. I loved getting lost in the world of Grimmhart!" - Zohra Nabi, bestselling author of The Kingdom Over the Sea

Never go into the forest at night
Only trust a map written by your own hand
And, above all, do not show the trees your fear . . .

A mysterious letter containing ominous hints and strange silver charms of a howling wolf and a malevolent fairy leads Tig and Elsa deep into Grimmhart Forest, a dark enchanted world of sinister secrets and creatures unknown. A place where the magical powers of ancient animals are unleashed. The place into which their grandfather has vanished...

Tig and Elsa must stray far from the forest path if they are to outwit those who wish them harm. But trouble lurks in the shadows and danger does not always come from outside. Can Tig resist the lure of his Ice Wolf charm or will his newfound courage spell out his destruction?

Eve Wersocki Morris grew up in North London and has been making up stories her whole life. Despite being diagnosed with dyslexia aged 12, she has not let that stop her literary ambitions and wrote her first full novel aged 13. She went on to study English at Nottingham University where she wrote, directed and performed in plays and was Arts Editor of the student magazine. She volunteers with Coram Beanstalk Literacy Charity as a reading helper for children, and has written book reviews for Stylist, Times Literature Supplement and The Bookseller.
