Embark on a year-long adventure to discover the wild, wonderful – and sometimes downright weird – creatures that have lived on Earth since life began. You’ll meet the iconic dodo, sabre-tooth cat and woolly mammoth, alongside many lesser-known species – some extinct, some clinging to survival, some thriving after being thought lost for centuries – all brought to life with stunning illustrations and fascinating facts.
The third book in the series – the ultimate gift for animal lovers aged 6 and up!
Praise for An Animal a Day:
“A spectacular year-long menagerie […] this is a real winner for enticing readability” – Imogen Russell Williams, Guardian
Illustrated by Kaja Kajfež, Santiago Calle, Kacey Barton and César Samaniego.
Kaja Kajfež is a freelance illustrator who brings stories to life through her art. Her professional work is primarily centred on children's books, while her personal projects reflect her love for nature.
Colombian artist Santiago Calle’s work is infused with his passion for pin-up art, 3D printing, and the aesthetics of vintage, retro and Art Nouveau styles.
César Samaniego is a children's illustrator from Canet de Mar, Catalonia. Since he was a child, he has loved drawing animals (especially dinosaurs) and is fortunate to be able to continue doing so as an adult and even get paid for it.
Kacey Barton is a Texas-based digital illustrator with a passion for wildlife education. She believes art has the power to connect people with nature and all the living things we share our planet with.
