From Fibroids to Freedom demystifies the complex and often overwhelming journey of living with uterine fibroids. Fibroids can affect everything big and small, from finances, to fertility, to fashion, and this book covers all you need to know. It presents you with clinical information about your body, including the early indicators of fibroids and your management and treatment options, as well as practical advice on how to live life with fibroids and have open and honest conversations with your doctors and loved ones to ensure you have the support you need throughout your journey.
Whether you are newly diagnosed and feeling overwhelmed or actively undergoing treatment, this book is your essential companion. Written by the founder of the White Dress Project, a nonprofit dedicated to providing support to fibroids patients and raising awareness about fibroids, and a gynecologic surgeon who specializes in the minimally invasive surgical management of fibroids, From Fibroids to Freedom was designed to empower you to face your fibroids journey with strength and resilience.
