Samantha's favourite thing about writing and editing children's books is marvelling at how much can be said in so few words. She is a committed townie and lives in London with her little boy in a tall house with lots of stairs. She loves tea, jigsaws, Elvis and pretty much everything Italian. Her other great passion is football and she is a lifelong, dedicated supporter of a team who don't win very often.
Ella Bailey (Illustrator)
Ella Bailey is a freelance illustrator currently living in Devon, in the UK. She specialises in children's books having illustrated many board, novelty and picture books. Ella works mostly digitally and likes to incorporate lots of texture and limited, lively palettes into her artwork. Some of her favourite things to draw include children, animals and ghosts.
