The book attempts to assess the role of three economic areas in creating power in international relations, i.e. energy sector, internationalization of currency and technologies with a military significance, which might potentially become “fuel for dominance” and an instrument to gain geopolitical advantages of great pow-ers. Tomasz Grzegorz Grosse is a sociologist, political scientist and historian. He is a professor at the University of Warsaw. He specializes in the analysis of economic policies in the EU and the Member States, as well as in public management, geo-economics, Europeanisation, EU theoretical thoughts.
