Greg Ames's debut novel, Buffalo Lockjaw, won the Book of the Year Award from the New Atlantic Independent Booksellers Association (NAIBA). His work has appeared in the Best American Nonrequired Reading, Southern Review, McSweeney's, Catapult, and The Sun, among others.
