Jen Wilson was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and lives there still. She is the proud wife of Alan and mother of two-legged Aaron, age twelve, and four-legged Galaxy, age nine.
She was brought up around animals and spent most of her time surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, and various reptiles. Being around animals her whole life gave her a distinct sense of comfort around them.
Somewhat shy and quiet, she always felt a deeper bond with her animals than with kids her age. She spent her formative years in the middle of a pasture with a horse, training her dogs, or cuddling with her cats. Despite having no formal education in animal training, this upbringing helped her to understand animals. She knew intuitively how to communicate with them and understand what they were communicating to her.
