First Published in 2009. This book brings together the work of George Catlin's illustrations and observations of the American Indian tribes, lands, people and way of living, and peoples, initially exhibited in New York city in September 1837
Richard Worth, a Connecticut-based writer, is the author of more than fifty books for young adults. These include biographies, histories, books on current events, and family living. He is a collector of American Impressionist paintings by Connecticut artists from the Old Lyme School. His interest in George Catlin grew out of books that he has written on the Apache Indians and America’s Manifest Destiny.
