It’s up to Ghost to save Halloween in this irresistible picture book perfect for fans of How to Catch a Monster and Trick or Treat on Scary Street!

Might I try a good ‘ole haunt? Ghostly games I have to flaunt. Forgive me, I don’t mean to taunt... Ok, maybe I do.

Candy has upstaged Ghost on Halloween for far too long. It's time for Ghost to learn a new trick and treat these kids to a haunt or else the holiday will fall flat like a busted pipe organ. To the tune of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven, this spirited and clever rhyming picture book ideal for Halloween read-alouds is sure to enchant young readers all spooky season long.

  1. The Turkey Who Saved Thanksgiving (Fall 2027)
Jen Anyong has dreamed up stories of sorts since elementary school but fell in love with picture books while teaching at her daughter’s preschool. As she read aloud to the children—their faces beaming with wonder—Jen just knew she needed to write picture books! Most of her stories are inspired by her family. Between her mischievous dog, clever daughter, and humorous husband, you'll find them laughing together, work-shopping all of the silliness that makes picture book magic. Jen’s Hungarian heritage mixed with her husband’s Chinese heritage makes for lots of multi-cultural fun and an array of holidays and traditions. When not writing, Jen is a caregiver to her father, a part-owner of a snazzy little jazz lounge, and an active member of her church and alumnae chapter. Jen invites you to find her on social media @jenanyong. Kaly Quarles studied interior design and worked in architecture before finding her way to illustration. She swoons over historic shopfronts, stationery, and vintage ephemera, and her pulse always quickens at the thought of secret passageways. When she's not drawing with a cat in her lap, she’s hunting for obscure antiques, rock climbing, or hosting a one-woman pastry-eating contest. She lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with one handsome fella and four rascally cats.
