Dr. Chew Fong Peng is a lecturer at the Faculty of Education, University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. She has presented around 160 working papers at international and national seminars and conferences. Dr. Chew has published 5 books, 101 journal articles, 67 conference papers, 36 book chapters, 20 translated books including creative writings, and 10 edited books. She also serves as a book editor for Taylor & Francis. Dr. Chew has completed 19 research projects, leading 8 of them. Her achievements have earned her numerous awards, including the UM Outstanding Service Award (2008). She has been listed in Marquis Who's Who in the World in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019, and was recognized as one of the 2000 Intellectuals in the World for the 21st Century in 2011.
