Selected by the Telegraph as one of the best new children's books in January 2026.

"exuberantly charming" - The Guardian

Bodger, Billy and Betty are VERY good dogs. They like doing good deeds and are always on the lookout for ways to help people. Unfortunately, things don't always go to plan…

From flying socks to runaway shopping, chaos follows them wherever they go. But when a little girl's kitten gets into trouble, the good deed dogs are determined to save the day.

A heartwarming picture book from award-winning author-illustrator Emma Chichester Clark, celebrating the power of kindness, friendship and never giving up.

Emma Chichester Clark was born in London but grew up in the countryside in Ireland. She studied at the Chelsea School of Art followed by the Royal College of Art where she was taught by Quentin Blake. She has written and illustrated many picture books, including the immensely popular Blue Kangaroo series, and has also produced illustrations for numerous magazines and book jackets. She won the Mother Goose Award in 1988 as the most exciting newcomer to children's book illustration.
