Sharon Marie Jones was born and raised in Dolgellau, in North Wales. She studied English and Education at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and graduated with first class honours. After completing a PGCE course, she began a career as a primary school teacher and taught at Pontrhydfendigaid Primary School for 12 years. She’s a mum to three boys.
