Ruth K Westheimer is a psychosexual therapist best known for pioneering the field of media psychology with her radio and television shows. Steven Kaplan is currently Associate Professor in Comparative Religion and African Studies at the Hebrew University. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Boston University and Harvard University. His previous books include a co-authored work with Dr. Ruth Westheimer, On Surviving Salvation: TheEthiopian Jewish Family in Transition (1992), and an edited collection, Indigenous Responses to WesternChristianity (1995).
