In 2012 it was all change for the railways of East Anglia. After eight years of National Express it was time for a new operator to emerge on to the East Anglian railway scene. Greater Anglia, operated by Abellio, would go on to operate the area for the next ten years with their varied stock of different ages, liveries of past operators, and challenges of all different types. Adam Head is an East Anglian who has had a keen interest in photography and the railways from a young age. When he isn’t working, he can often be found out and about on the railways around East Anglia and other parts of the UK discovering new sights and trains.
