Andrew Riddoch is a historian and battlefield guide and co-author of ‘When the Whistle Blows: The Story of the Footballers’ Battalion in the Great War’ (2011).
Professor Matthew Taylor is a member and Dr Jean Williams is a Senior Research Fellow of the International Centre for Sports History and Culture at De Montfort University. He is author of ‘The Association Game: A History of British Football’ (2008) and she is author of ‘A Game for Rough Girls: A History of Women’s Football in England’ (2003).
Dr Alexander Jackson is a Collections Officer at the National Football Museum.
Dr Iain Adams is Principal Lecturer in the School of Sport, Tourism and the Outdoors at The University of Central Lancashire. He has written several articles on football on the Western Front.
