Kevin Turton began writing true crime articles in the 1990s. He sold some of his work to local newspapers and has compiled the Northamptonshire Murders volume in Sutton's county murders new series (2003). He has also produced four short books on murders: 'The Kimberworth Murders' (1996), 'A Trilogy of Murder' (1997), 'The Murder of William Lilley' ("001) and 'Foul Deeds and Suspicious Deaths' (2002).
