Hazel Spratt was an agreeable child. Never impatient, unruly or wild.

But when Hazel turns three-and-a-half, her parents notice a change. She is no longer their polite and pleasant daughter, Hazel, she is now Grumbelina, 'a grumpy child, so disgruntled yet small, with a list of complaints that could cover a wall.'

Settle down and relax for a moment, this humorous and delightfully illustrated picture book takes a tongue-in-cheek look at tantrums - perfect for every home.

Software Engineer cum author, Esther Krogdahl is the ultimate wordsmith. Her love of coding led to her dream job in the gaming industry - designing puzzles, building worlds and narrative arcs for games. Esther has worked with Disney on top-secret projects, developing mobile games played by hundreds of thousand of people around the world. Grumbelina, Esther's first children's book, is inspired by her daughter's overnight tyrannical transformation at three-and-a-half and the desire to write for parents about this challenging yet rewarding time. Aleksandra Szmidt grew up in a town in the south of Poland and currently resides in New Zealand. In Poland, she worked as a graphic designer. Upon moving, she decided to pursue her dream as a freelance illustrator. From her home studio, Aleksandra creates one-of-a-kind artworks for clients across the world.
