Visiting wax figures sounds like fun, right? Vincent doesn’t think so, but his dad can’t wait to visit Hitchcock’s House of Wax. Vincent’s fears are quickly realized when the wax figures come to life, scaring up more than a good time! With short chapters, easy-to-read text and enhanced back matter, this Boo Book delivers just-right frights (without the sleepless nights) for the earliest readers.
John Sazaklis spent part of life working in a family coffee shop, the House of Donuts. The other part, he spent drawing and writing stories. He has illustrated Spider-Man books and written Batman books for HarperCollins. He has also created toys used in MAD Magazine. Patrycja Fabicka is an illustrator with a love for magic, nature, soft colors, and storytelling. Creating cute and colorful illustrations is something that warms her heart—even during cold winter nights. She hopes that her artwork will inspire children, as she was once inspired by “The Snow Queen,” “Cinderella,” and other fairy tales.
