Kenya L Coleman is a Veteran Hair Stylist from the city of Chicago. Her passion for empowering people is what led to a career in Cosmetology. Although that career was long it was merely a catalyst to a future in counseling. She has always known her destiny was not in styling hair and after eighteen years in that business she decided to go back to school. Two decades of talking to countless clients helped her discover a natural gift for making people interpret their experiences in a way that they hadn’t before. She also discovered she was naturally analytical, a good listener, and was often sought after for counseling. Although Kenya considers herself a teacher she also feels she is a perpetual student willing to share every valuable lesson with anyone who needs it. She is currently in pursuit of her Doctoral Degree in Psychology. She now writes to share all of the lessons she has learned both directly and indirectly. This book is the first of many she intends to write to help others interpret their life experiences in ways that empower them instead of hinder them.
