Martin Stanev is a children's book illustrator whose debut picture book The Planet in a Pickle Jar was selected by The Guardian as a Best Children's Book of 2021. Originally from Bulgaria, Martin now lives in the Lake District in the north of England where you'll find him hiking and observing nature that he brings back into the studio.
