The Editors/Die Herausgeber: The editors and contributors are members of the Internationalen Gesellschaft fuer Geschichtsdidaktik. They are all committed to research in the field of didactic of history and are engaged in educating future teachers of history. The common point of their interest is the international scientific cooperation. Karl Pellens is longtime chair-person of the Internationalen Gesellschaft fuer Geschichtsdidaktik and coeditor of the Jahrbuch and the Mitteilungen of the association. He has held a professorship at the Paedagogische Hochschule Weingarten. Die Herausgeber und Autoren sind Mitglieder der Internationalen Gesellschaft fuer Geschichtsdidaktik, d.h. dass sie an Universitaeten und Hochschulen in der geschichtsdidaktischen Forschung und in der Geschichtslehrerbildung taetig und an internationaler wissenschaftlicher Kooperation orientiert sind. Karl Pellens ist langjaehriger Vorsitzender der Internationalen Gesellschaft fuer Geschichtsdidaktik und Mitherausgeber der Mitteilungen bzw. des Jahrbuchs dieser Gesellschaft und war Professor an der Paedagogischen Hochschule Weingarten.
