Filmmakers have honed their skills and many have achieved critical and popular success at home and abroad, as have actors and other crew. Karina Aveyard is a University of Sydney Postdoctoral Research Fellow based in the Department of Media and Communications. She is the author of The Lure of the Big Screen: Cinema in Rural Australia and the United Kingdom (2015), and co-editor of the collected volumes Watching Films: New Perspectives on Movie-Going, Exhibition and Reception (2013) and New Patterns in Global Television Formats (2016).
Albert Moran is a professor in the School of Humanities at Griffith University. He has helped to pioneer research in Australian film and television history. His scholarly output includes more than 30 books (authored or edited) and more than 100 refereed papers.
Errol Vieth was associate dean for research in the Faculty of Informatics and Communication at Central Queensland University.
