Em Sauter is an award-winning cartoonist and was named one of the “40 under 40 Tastemakers” in 2016 by Wine Enthusiast. She has an MFA in cartooning from the Center for Cartoon Studies, is an Advanced Cicerone®, BJCP Certified Beer Judge, and has judged many international beer competitions. She has contributed to All About Beer,Alcohol Professor, Vinepair, Craft Beer and Brewing, Brewers and Distillers International, and the UK-based Pellicle (where she has a monthly comic about brewery cats!). Sauter is an accomplished public speaker and lives in Connecticut with her husband Matt and cat Milbo.
