Liza grew up watching B-movies and dreaming of becoming Debbie Harry before working backstage in theatre and film for over a decade. She has written extensively about folklore, publishing her second book, Everyday Folklore, an almanac for the ritual year with Murdoch Books in October 2023. She holds a Masters in Folklore Studies from University of Hertfordshire as well as writing her own blog about have-a-go ritual year folklore and how folklore can solve just about any problem. Liza is now on the list at BBC radio as 'The Folklore Expert' and has appeared many times on BBC Sussex. She also reviews other books on folklore.
