What are executive functions and why are they important? How can they be developed effectively in children and adults? Many children, adolescents and adults experience difficulties and disorders that stem from poor executive functioning, such as ADHD, dyslexia or behavioural problems. Concentration, working memory, planning and impulse control are executive functions of the brain that must be trained and put into practice in order to perform well and function effectively in different contexts (educational/work, emotional and social).

This book brings together the concepts necessary to understand the basic functioning of the brain, as well as the relationship between its different parts.

  • It describes the main executive functions, such as concentration, impulse control, emotional self-regulation and processing speed, among others.
  • It contains 100 exercises to stimulate the brain in a simple and fun way. Enhancing your executive functions is within your reach.

Take advantage of the opportunity this book offers you: achieve a satisfactory adaptation to your environment and those around you.
