Scratch, discover and learn all about the human body with this innovative scratch 'factivity' book and reveal the hidden colour in each scratch picture!

This human body book is packed with bite-sized non-fiction facts, hidden pictures to reveal, intricate colouring, and a fun seek and find challenge to complete on each scratch page.

The complex systems and workings of the human body are broken down to everyday activities to help children understand how the human body works. With the stylus, scratch away the black surface on the special card pictures to discover the inner workings of the human body.

Each scratch picture can be completed either by scratching away all of the black surface to reveal the colourful picture, or carefully scratch between the lines and then discover the hidden illustrations in the spaces on each page.

There are colouring pages at the back of each book, each picture a celebration of the amazing human body. Simply colour each picture with pencils or pens, then cut along the dotted lines to remove and display your awesome work of art!

Susan Mayes graduated from Leeds University, UK, with a degree in Creative Arts, studying art and literature. She began her writing career as an author of children's non-fiction, later spreading her literary wings to write children's picture storybooks, as well as creative early learning titles. She is a previous winner of the Science Book Prize awarded by COPUS - The Committee on the Public Understanding of Art. Amanda is a designer and illustrator who has worked in publishing, design and advertising. Amanda now works from her home studio, and when she's not illustrating and designing she is spending time with her family and enjoying her garden. In fact, if Amanda hadn't gone into design she would have like to be a landscape gardener as the shapes and textures of foliage have always enchanted her.
