Sim and his mum never live anywhere long. When dangerous strangers appear one night, Sim discovers why. His mum has been keeping secrets: she has the power to open doors in time.

Running for their lives, Sim and his friends are determined to outwit the sinister Council of Keys and be the first to find Nefertiti’s lost tomb and a powerful door to Ancient Egypt. They must piece together long-hidden clues if they are to solve the mystery of her golden heart scarab. Can they find it before the Council finds them?

Join Sim, Jeopardy and Nelson on their next exciting adventures through time in The Legend of Viking Thunder and The Impossible Gladiator.

'Absolutely brilliant page-turner. Atmospheric, entertaining and packed to the brim with fascinating facts' – Lauren St John, author of Kat Wolfe Investigates

M.G. Leonard has made up stories since she was a little girl but back then people called them fibs or tall tales, so she didn’t think to write them down. After a successful career in the music industry and the arts, she finally dared to put pen to paper. Her inventive stories about beetles, birds, and trains are hugely popular. Her books have been translated into over forty languages and won many awards. In this, her most ambitious series yet, M. G. Leonard combines her passion for music, love of history, and instinct for adventure, to bring readers the Time Keys books.
