Josie Campbell is a Los Angeles-based writer and filmmaker.
An alumni of Emerson College and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre, Josie is a writer for TV, film, and comics. She was the Head Writer for hit shows “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power,” and “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous,” as well as Head Writer/Co-Showrunner for “My Adventures With Superman.”
Josie’s other writing credits include work for Dreamworks, Disney, Mattel, Sony, and Warner Brothers; joke writing for comedians (and PromaxBDA Award Show hosts) Amy Schumer, Jay Mohr, and Norm Macdonald; and authoring comics and graphic novels for DC Comics, including the tie-in miniseries “My Adventures With Superman,” and the ongoing DC Comic “Shazam!”
In the live-action space, Josie has done punch-up and ghostwriting theatrical work, written and directed plays for the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and written and produced sketch comedy for UCB.
