to make sure I'm not in a huff
because there's simply so much stuff
that makes me want to yell.
We all get angry once in a while, but it can be hard to know what to do when we feel this way. The determined heroine of I Really want the Cake is back with a new connundrum. What should she do when she REALLY wants to shout.
Simon Philip (Author)
Simon was born in Chichester in 1988 and has lived there ever since. After studying History at Exeter University, he decided to become a primary school teacher. Teaching rekindled his love of children's books, so much so that he decided to have a go at writing his own. He is the author of I Don't Know What to Call my Cat, You Must Bring a Hat, and the I Really Want series: I Really Want the Cake (2017) shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize, I Really Want to Win (2019) I Really Want to Shout (2020) and I Really Want to Share (2022).

Lucia Gaggiotti (Illustrator)
Lucia Gaggiotti is a London and Italy-based illustrator and graphic designer. She graduated from NABA (New Accademy of Art) in Milan with a BA in graphic design and a specialisation of illustration. She moved to London in 2005 and has been working freelance since then for many clients including Carluccio's, Jamie Oliver, Pizza Express and M&S. She is the illustrator of the Waterstones Children's Book Prize shortlisted I Really Want the Cake.
