Ibraheem loves Eid because Eid means presents! What’s not to love? But when Eid arrives, and the day brings trips to the mosque, fantastic food, family, games and fun but NO PRESENTS Ibraheem begins to worry! Has something gone terribly wrong?
Luckily his dad is there to help and asks Ibraheem to tell him about his day. As Ibraheem remembers all the special things he’s seen and done, he soon discovers that the greatest gift of Eid is the bond of love forged through family, culture and community.

Born and raised in Newcastle Upon Tyne and currently residing in Birmingham, Farhana Islam is a Primary School Teacher with a passion for telling stories and empowering diverse voices. Not Now, Noor is her debut picture book.
Nabila Adani (Illustrator)
Nabila Adani lives in Jakarta Indonesia and enjoys illustrating different cultures around the world. She originally studied Industrial Product Design in Bandung Institute of Technology earning her degree in 2013 yet found her way into illustration later in life.
She briefly worked as product designer in Japan and Indonesia before moving to the United States to study children's book illustration. Now, living back in Jakarta she enjoys illustrating and telling stories for children worldwide.
