Fully illustrated profiles of the most legendary American golfers.

The Immortals of American Golf celebrates the greatest golf pros to hail from the U.S. It takes the Immortals concept made famous elsewhere in the sporting world and applies it to the club-and-ball game, delving into the history of legends. Michael Purkey selects his top 18 golfers, then shines a spotlight on their victory-filled careers. Renowned golfers selected and profiled include: Bobby Jones, Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Sam Snead, and Walter Hagen. The book tells the remarkable stories behind each Immortal's rise to the top and the adversity faced through their careers.
