David Addison is the voice of British motorsport. David has led the ITV4 commentary team for the British Touring Car Championship for a decade and is the on-track announcer for the British Grand Prix where in 2022 he commentated to the trackside race day Formula 1 crowd of 142,000. He went to his first motor race as a five-year-old and was hooked straight away! He began commentating in 1991 and has covered the likes of.GT World Challenge Europe, the FIA European Truck Racing Championship, British Rallycross Championship, Goodwood events. From Formula 1 to Le Mans, television and track commentaries, awards dinners and press conferences, David has an enviable CV. He is also a podcast host and is a Motorsport News columnist. Immortals of British Motor Racing is his first book.
