Dr. Sheryl Farnan is the Dean of Instruction at the Longview campus of Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City, Missouri. She held the position of Program Coordinator for the Apparel and Textiles program at the Penn Valley campus. Sheryl’s scholarship includes 20th century history of design as a profession with emphasis on women’s education and employment, and promotion of the American apparel industry through popular culture. Sheryl also serves as Past President and Nomination chair of CSA. She previously held the post of VP of External Affairs and Treasurer on the national board and served on the Midwest regional board.
