Hiawyn Oram (Author)
Hiawyn Oram was brought up in South Africa. She was a professional actor before coming to the UK, where she has worked as an advertising copywriter and has had numerous books published.
Satoshi Kitamura (Illustrator)
Satoshi Kitamura was born in Tokyo and worked in advertising there before moving to London in 1980. He won the Mother Goose Award for Angry Arthur and he is now one of the most distinguished picture book illustrators. His book Sheep in Wolves' Clothing was adapted into an animated series by HIT Entertainment (who would later acquire Pingu, Fireman Sam and Thomas & Friends) that was animated by Grand Slamm Children's Films (who had also worked with HIT to animate Kipper, Percy the Park Keeper and Angelina Ballerina for CITV) and screened on CBBC for two seasons, starring Starred Absolutely Fabulous actress, Julia Sawalha, and also sold to overseas markets, including Australia. Satoshi now lives in Japan.
