Kripalani was 2006-07 Edward R. Murrow Press Fellow, Council on Foreign Relations, New York. She was deputy press secretary to U.S. Presidential candidate Steve Forbes in 1995; press secretary/advisor to Meera Sanyal, independent candidate, Lok Sabha, 2008, 2014. Kripalani holds bachelor’s degrees in law, English and History, Bombay University, India; Master's in International Affairs, Columbia University, New York, USA.
