He earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Universite Laval, QC.Basel Solaiman is professor and head of the image and information department at Ecole National Superieure des Telecommunications de Bretagne, Brest, France. He earned his Ph.D. from Universite de Rennes-I, France.
