Dave Goulson is Professor of Biology at University of Sussex, specialising in bee ecology. This was followed by A Buzz in the Meadow in 2014, Bee Quest in 2017, The Garden Jungle and Gardening for Bumblebees in in 2019, and Silent Earth in August 2021. Emily Carter is an award-winning British designer based in London, specialising in hand illustrated silk accessories, stationery and furnishings. Her collections incorporate themes from natural history, flora, fauna and scientific illustration to create surreal and unique illustrations and prints. The Royal Entomological Society is devoted to the understanding and development of insect science. The RES support international collaboration, research and publication.
