An attractive, illustrated book containing over 100 photographs taken by Jim Rodger, a remarkable sports journalist who wrote for the Scottish Express and The Scottish Mirror for over forty years and who counted several Prime Ministers and members of the Royal family amongst his many friends. The pictures, most of which come from his private collection of slides, have never been published before. The collection includes many momentous or fascinating moments from inside Scottish football in the 1950s and '60s. The royalties will be donated to Jim Rodger's widow and the Scottish Press Association charity (who are supporting the book, thus ensuring a great deal of good publicity).
