Achieving socio-political cohesion in a community with significant ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity is a difficult challenge in contemporary liberal democracies. R.E. Lowe-Walker lectures in social and political philosophy at the Okanagan campus of the University of British Columbia. Her research interests focus on the challenges of pluralism in liberal democracies.
