He then moved to the oil and gas industry, working as a Business Development Manager at Petrofac and a Project Manager at Saipem. Throughout his career, Motopeda has received several awards and recognition for his contributions to the energy industry, including being named one of the Top 100 Oil and Gas Leaders in Africa by Energy Capital & Power in 2019. Motopeda holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Lagos Business School. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Project Management Institute. Motopeda is passionate about mentoring young professionals and supporting community development initiatives.
