Belarus, in Soviet times. Irina is an unremarkable young woman growing up in an orphanage. One night, a mysterious visitor demands to see her and her best friend Julia. The latter goes first, then Irina is told she won't be needed after all. The next day, Julia has vanished without a trace... Thus begins a quest for truth and vengeance, from Minsk to Moscow to Washington - one that will lead Irina to discover her true calling.
Eric Corbeyran is a veteran of scriptwriting with over 180 titles under his belt. A jack of all trades fascinated by all sorts of topics, he's put his name to famous series such as Le Chant des Stryges or Uchronies, has worked with the biggest names and has collected awards and prizes - including the International Manga Award silver medal (Japan). Philippe Berthet is a French 'ligne claire' artist. After a remarkable entrance onto the comics scene in Spirou Magazine with Couleur Cafe in 1980, he will create, among others, Le Prive d'Hollywood, Les Exploits de Poison Ivy as well as Pin-up with Yann.
