Katie Vernon is an illustrator whose heart belongs in the mountains. She lives in Flagstaff, Arizona, and shares her studio with a large cricket that sings all day long! She is a trend leader and a master watercolorist, and winner of the 2015 Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search. Her inspiration comes from being a florist, working with alpacas, and living on a bus. Her happy place is either hiking with her family or drinking seltzer water in her studio.
